In law school, Trevor Courtney learned he could use his competitive spirit to change people’s lives. At Arnold & Itkin, he’s committed to doing whatever it takes to advocate for his clients against the toughest, most well-prepared opponents in the nation. His practice focuses primarily on maritime, offshore injury, catastrophic injury, premises liability, and wrongful death cases.

Born and raised in Mandeville, Louisiana, Trevor received his high school diploma from IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. He moved on to play baseball as a collegiate athlete and graduated magna cum laude from Drury University in Springfield, Missouri, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration. After receiving his undergraduate degree, Trevor graduated Cum Laude from South Texas College of Law-Houston.

During law school, Trevor participated in South Texas’s highly awarded and nationally renowned advocacy program, where he learned to advocate aggressively for his clients. Throughout his law school career, he competed in tournaments nationwide on varsity Mock Trial and Moot Court teams, worked for multiple litigation firms, and clerked for the 190th Judicial District Court in Harris County, Texas.

Trevor enjoys spending time with his wife and family, playing golf, watching college football, and riding horses.
