Arnold & Itkin LLP File Jones Act Suit for Injured Galleyhand

Arnold & Itkin LLP recently filed suit on behalf of a galleyhand working on an oil rig known as the ATWOOD CONDOR. This is an ultra-deep water DP semi rig that is owned by Friede & Goldman. It is a large vessel that can hold up to 200 persons.

The offshore worker fell and hurt her back on the vessel while she was trying to move trash. Her employer did not pay any of the costs of maintenance and cure, and did not give her any disability benefits. Jason Itkin, Cory Itkin, and Noah Wexler are working on the Jones Act case.

The firm hopes that at the outcome, this galleyhand will get the compensation that she needs to cover her medical bills and punitive damages. Arnold & Itkin LLP is proud to help another offshore worker get the compensation that she deserves as a worker protected by the Jones Act. All workers on oil rigs are protected by the Jones Act, whether they work out on the rig with their machinery or in the galley preparing meals. The case was filed in Jefferson County, Texas.
