Three Lawsuits Filed for Injured Jones Act Seamen
- Arnold & Itkin
Arnold & Itkin’s maritime attorneys have filed three cases on behalf of injured seamen:
- Attorneys Jason Itkin, Trent Shelton, and Wes Hook filed suit in Harris County, Texas on behalf of an injured Jones Act seaman and employee of the Deepwater Invictus who was severely injured on an unreasonably dangerous set of stairs. Stairwells are a well-known source of injury to seamen, and vessel owners know this. Whenever vessel owners lose sight of their duty to protect crews, Arnold & Itkin will be there to remind them.
- Attorneys Jason Itkin, Trent Shelton, and Wes Hook filed suit on behalf of a Jones Act seaman who was injured aboard the Deepwater Thalassa because of his employer's failure to maintain its stairways.
- Attorneys Kurt Arnold, Adam Lewis, and Andrew Bowman filed a lawsuit on behalf of an injured Jones Act seaman. This seaman was working aboard a vessel that was ill-maintained, which led to him slipping and falling from a high distance and suffering catastrophic orthopedic injuries.
