Biography

Danielle Giaccio is theĀ first lawyer in her family and a student of public health. She has built her career around advocating for individuals facing catastrophic injuries and other life-changing hardships.

Danielle grew up on Long Island before heading west to study at the University of California, Irvine. There, she earned dual degrees in public health policy and economics. Her passion for health and justice brought her to Houston, where she completed a Master of Public Health with a specialization in Maternal and Child Health at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She continued her legal education at the University of Houston Law Center, earning both her Juris Doctor and Master of Laws in Health Law.

Throughout law school, Danielle distinguished herself academically and competitively. She published work with the Houston Journal of Health Law & Policy and demonstrated impressive advocacy skills in national mock trial, moot court, and alternative dispute resolution competitions, achievements that led to her induction into the Order of the Barristers.

Danielle now brings that same drive and depth of knowledge to Arnold & Itkin, where she represents clients in personal injury, maritime, and wrongful death cases.

Outside the office, Danielle remains active in the legal community. She returns to the University of Houston Law Center to help coach and direct its nationally recognized moot court team. When she’s not working, she enjoys traveling, going to live music and line dancing events, and spending time with her dog.
