Man Suffers Brain Damage After Fall During Sleep

Offshore attorneys at Arnold & Itkin LLP filed suit on behalf of an experienced construction manager hired to work on a platform off the coast of Equatorial Guinea. He was assigned the top bunk of a bed for sleeping, but the platform owner’s failed to provide adequate railing and safeguards with the bunk. The platform owner also ignored our client’s request for a lower bunk.

Consequently, our client seriously injured his head, neck, back, and shoulder when he rolled off the bed while sleeping off a long day’s work. Though he had extensive experience working on large, offshore projects, our client now suffers from post-concussive symptoms and deals with daily pain. He had worked hard to get to where he was in his career, only for the defendant’s negligence and carelessness to take it all away.

When someone causes an accident, it’s only right that they pay for the damage. Our client’s wrongdoer has cost him his career. It’s only fair that they compensate him for the full value of what he’s lost. Arnold & Itkin has experiencing standing up to big companies that do this to workers, and we look forward to taking the fight to them again.
