Lawsuit Filed for Offshore Worker Struck by Wire Rope
Posted on
Arnold & Itkin LLP filed a new lawsuit today on behalf of an offshore oil rig worker who was struck by a piece of wire rope while working aboard the Noble Clyde Bordeaux. He sustained serious injuries to his face, jaw, and other parts of his body.
The young man required emergency surgery to address his injuries, which were caused by the Defendants’ conduct and the unseaworthy condition of the vessel and its equipment. The costs of his medical care ought to be covered by his employer—as well as any income he's going to lose as a result of the accident. That's exactly what we're fighting to prove.
Arnold & Itkin looks forward to representing this individual and seeking the justice he deserves. We also look forward to uncovering the conditions that led to this accident, working to help make sure it doesn't happen to anyone else.
The lawsuit has been filed in Harris County.
