Jones Act Lawsuit Filed for Man Working Aboard the CLEDUS

Attorneys Kurt Arnold, Kyle Findley, Kala Sellers, and Adam Lewis recently filed a lawsuit on behalf of a Jones Act seaman who worked for Coastal Dredging Company. Our client was injured while working aboard Coastal’s vessel, the CLEDUS, while being required to carry out high risk tasks. Specially, the client sustained injuries after striking a section of the vessel that was not properly marked with adequate warning. To compound matters, the Plaintiff was not provided proper safety equipment, which contributed to his serious injuries.

As always, our legal team at Arnold & Itkin works tirelessly to represent workers, such as this client, who have been injured in these types of incidents. It is our hope to not only curb dangerous practices, but to also help our clients fight for the financial compensation that they deserve. Having recovered billions of dollars on behalf of our clients, we have proven throughout the years that we are dedicated to the pursuit of justice. We fight hard to protect our clients' legal rights and ensure that they are taken care of for the rest of their lives.
