Arnold & Itkin File Lawsuit on Behalf of Shipyard Worker
Arnold & Itkin filed a lawsuit on behalf of a worker who was injured in a shipyard in Seattle. The plaintiff, a ship repairman from La Marque, Texas, severely injured his back, elbows and other parts of his body after falling through grating on a vessel located in the shipyard. The lawsuit alleges that the plaintiff's employer, Crowley Maritime Corporation, is liable for the injuries for failing to maintain and inspect the vessel and for failing to provide safe premises. Additionally, the complaint states that the company failed to properly warn the plaintiff of an unknown danger.
The plaintiff is seeking damages to compensate him for past and future medical expenses, past and future lost earning, and physical pain and impairment. He is being represented by maritime attorneys Jason Itkin, Cory Itkin and Noah Wexler.
The case was filed this afternoon in Galveston County, Texas.
