Suit Filed on Behalf of an American Seaman

Arnold & Itkin has recently filed a lawsuit on behalf of an American seaman who was injured aboard the Stena Forth, a class 3 drill ship capable of drilling in depths of up to 10,000 ft. The plaintiff suffered multiple injuries to his body – including a knee injury – when he slipped and fell down a flight of stairs on the drill ship. The lawsuit seeks damages for medical expenses, lost current and future wages, and severe physical and mental anguish.

The lawsuit names as defendants the owner and operator of the drill ship, Stena Drilling Ltd., and the staffing company through which the plaintiff was employed, Rigcrews International.

The lawsuit was filed in Harris County, TX and alleges that the defendants failed to properly supervise and train their employees, failed to provide adequate safety equipment and medical training, and failed to maintain the vessel.

The plaintiff is being represented by Maritime Attorneys Jason Itkin, Cory Itkin, and Noah Wexler.
