Bradford Hendrickson

Attorney Bradford Hendrickson

As a gifted and aggressive lawyer, Bradford Hendrickson has been an incredible asset for his clients since his first day of practicing law. Prior to joining Arnold & Itkin, Bradford developed his practice on complex commercial cases for two highly-successful Houston law firms, handling cases such as commercial litigation, business disputes, complex bankruptcy, oil and gas litigation, and product liability defect cases.

In his prior roles, Bradford represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a host of high-level issues, both corporate and private—but he has now devoted his practice entirely to working on behalf of those who need it most. Injured plaintiffs are, by far, the most vulnerable party in any insurance or liability dispute. Helping the injured get the medical care and financial security they need is Bradford’s sole mission—a role he’s honored to accept daily. He works on behalf of plaintiffs who have been catastrophically injured in any context, particularly in offshore accidents or industrial incidents.

For his work on behalf of his clients, Bradford was recently selected to the 2017 list of the Texas Super Lawyers® Rising Stars™, an exclusive list of the top 2.5% of high-performing lawyers in Texas.

He is currently a member of the:

  • Houston Bar Association
  • Texas Young Lawyers
  • Houston Young Lawyers

He is also on the Advisory Board for the Houston Journal of International Law, where he once served as executive editor.

Braford earned his law degree from the University of Houston Law School, where he graduated as a member of the Order of the Barristers. During his time at law school, he interned and clerked for multiple judges, including the Honorable Leif Clark, the Honorable John Akard, and the Honorable Elsa Alcala at the Texas First Court of Appeals. He also gained invaluable legal experience working for various law firms throughout Houston. Prior to law, Bradford studied at the University of Texas (where he became a lifelong Longhorns football fan).

Before putting down roots in Texas, Bradford was born in New Jersey and grew up in Colorado. That’s why he’s often spending his time rooting for the Broncos (when he’s not watching the Longhorns). Bradford also loves trying new things in the kitchen and watching movies in his spare time.

Bradford Hendrickson's Case Results

$9.55M Recovered for Injured Longshoreman

Attorneys Jason Itkin, Cory Itkin, and Bradford Hendrickson secured a $9.55 million settlement for a longshoreman from Virginia. While performing his work duties, the longshoreman became the victim of an industrial crane accident. This accident caused the client various injuries resulting in the amputation of one of his legs. Proving accountability in Virginia is critical to an injury case, as Virginia law states that if a client is partially responsible for an injury, he or she forfeits their right to compensation. The defendant argued that the client was at fault for the incident, but Arnold & Itkin lawyers proved that this was not true. As a result, the longshoreman received a fair settlement. The settlement included the $9.55 million payment, an admittance of guilt by the defendant given to the client, a payment of $500,000 for the client’s medical bills, and the creation of a memorial safety award to honor the client’s service and diligence while employed as a longshoreman. Arnold & Itkin is truly honored to have obtained this recovery for their client.

Attorney's fees and expenses totaled $4,507,743.96.
