If the insurance company is offering to pay me, does that mean they are admitting fault? How can your firm do better for me?
If the insurance company is offering to settle your case or wants to take a recorded statement from you, I would contact a lawyer from Arnold and Itkin immediately. Chances are they are trying to get you to settle your case too cheap in the hopes that you won't go hire a lawyer. Typically when someone contacts us after an insurance company tries to negotiate with them or offer a settlement we are able to get multiples upon multiples of what the offer was from the insurance company. Similarly, if the insurance company is trying to take a recorded statement from you, I would not give it. I would politely say, thank you but no thanks. Because anything you say in that recorded statement can and will be used against you in the court of law. Instead of giving the statement you should immediately contact a lawyer at Arnold and Itkin and we will take it from there.
All you have to do is pick up the phone and call. We can talk about it. We can talk about what they are offering you. I don't want to take on a client who I don't think I can do a multiples better than what they are otherwise talking to the insurance adjuster about, and I would advise people to be careful when talking to insurance adjusters. They tape all your phone calls and they will try to get you to say things or do things or say you're probably at fault. You just need to be careful and you need that representative there to negotiate on your behalf.
