Injured Louisiana Seaman Receives $3 Million

Kurt Arnold of Arnold & Itkin LLP recovered a $3 million settlement for an injured seaman who suffered a hand injury while working in the Bay of Campeche in the Gulf of Mexico. Attorney Arnold represented the worker, who was from Leesville, Louisiana, filing the case in Texas where the employer was based. He sought compensation for future medical expenses, past and future loss of earnings and pain and suffering. Arnold successfully negotiated the $3 million settlement after months of negotiating.

Attorney's fees and expenses totaled $1,281,508.
