600 Ton Crane Delivered to Offshore Windfarm

Huisman Company recently delivered successfully a 600 ton crane to an offshore wind turbine on a jack-up vessel, the Neptune. This new environmentally friendly crane is also going to lower operation costs for Huisman. This is only the second crane of its kind for Huisman, and it was installed in Rotterdam Harbor, Netherlands. Port of Rotterdam is Europe's largest and busiest port. The jack-up rig the crane was delivered to measures 60 meters long and 38 meters wide. The Neptune will then be moved to different jack-up rigs throughout Europe, working on the installation of other offshore wind turbines.
