The Martin Companies are comprised of Martin Midstream Partners L.P. and the Martin Resource Management Corporation, which owns 100% of the General Partner interest and approximately 36% of the Limited Partner units in Martin Midstream Partners. Martin Midstream Partners L.P. does not have employees; Martin Resource Management employees are responsible for conducting business and operating assets on behalf of Martin Midstream Partners L.P.

Martin Midstream Partners L.P. primarily operates in the Gulf of Mexico. The partnership engages in the storage, transportation, and distribution of petroleum products and by-products. The Company operates through four business segments: Terminalling and Storage, Natural Gas Services, Marine Transportation, and Sulfur Services. Martin Midstream’s customers include major and independent oil and gas companies, independent refiners, large chemical companies, and fertilizer manufacturers.

Martin Midstream Partners owns or operates 17 marine terminal facilities and 6 inland terminal facilities located in the United States Gulf Coast region, in addition to a fleet of 37 inland marine tank barges, 18 inland push boats, and four offshore tug barge units. Martin Midstream Partners’ marine transportation system operates coastwise along the Gulf of Mexico and on the United States inland waterway system, primarily between domestic ports along the Gulf of Mexico, the Intracoastal Waterway, the Mississippi River system, and the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway system.

In 2005, Martin Midstream Partners L.P. acquired Prism Gas Systems, giving the company ownership of a natural gas processing plant in East Texas and transmission pipelines located in the natural gas producing regions of Central and East Texas, Northwest Louisiana, and the Texas Gulf Coast.

Martin Midstream Partners is a publicly traded limited partnership listed on NASDAQ under the symbol “MMLP”. Martin Resource Management is the general partner and majority owner.
