Attorney Michael Tilton
For injured seamen, it can be daunting to know where to turn. The legal process is not forgiving and if you do not have a full-bodied understanding of the law, it can be intimidating to know where to seek the answers that you need. Attorney Michael Tilton recognizes how difficult it can be to handle litigation involving maritime law and he is fully prepared to provide his clients with the comprehensive representation that they deserve. As he is well-versed in the Jones Act and the Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act, he has proven that he can handle the most difficult of cases.
Michael Tilton: Defending the Rights of the Injured
As the son of a military man and a school teacher, Mike grew up in the Philippines on the Clark Air Force Base. He also spent parts of his childhood in California and Germany before his parents moved to San Antonio, Texas where they called home. After graduating from high school, Mike went to the University of Houston where he received his undergraduate degree in Political Science and Psychology. He then went on to receive his law degree from the University of Houston Law Center.
To hone his legal skills, Mike served on the Interscholastic Moot Court Team and the Board of Advocates while in law school. He also went to clerk at several litigation firms where he gained considerable knowledge regarding the legal process representing both plaintiffs and defendants in courts of all different kinds.
At Arnold and Itkin, he now works tirelessly on the litigation team and is known for the passion and energy that he brings to the job on a daily basis. He recognizes that his passion is protecting the rights of the injury, as such as injured seamen, and spends his days providing one-on-one attention to his clients who are facing the uphill battle of a personal injury claim. He recognizes that success often lies in the details and he remains fully committed to each and every client - giving them the hard work, dedication and preparation that they need to get the edge that they deserve in their case.
